Prefumo Creek Restoration & Enhancement Project

Active since 2023, the Project is situated along the
urban salmon stream that flows from Froom Ranch Way to Calle  Joaquin in a narrow riparian corridor between a shopping center and auto dealerships to the west and agricultural fields to the east. The property is owned by the City of San Luis Obispo and held under a 40-year lease by the licensed non-profit, City Farm SLO.

The project is guided by three missions: Conservation, Education, and Recreation.

The project includes a pedestrian and bicycle path, a half-mile of sign-posted walking trails, and four creek access points. Public entry is welcomed during scheduled open hours and events.
